Sol Force was a celebration of the Summer Solstice at Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens in 2019, curated be Jesse Leroy Smith. Sixty artists contributed work that was installed in the gardens.
After the exhibition closed I was asked to leave my installation in place and agreed to document the decay of the hands over the following months, but I also felt that this was an opportunity to take the work further.
I approached this challenge intuitively, in stages, not knowing what the next stage might be but engaging in a blind faith that something creative would happen.
